Welcome to Elf Café, a delightful gem nestled on Paul-Robeson-Straße in Berlin's charming Prenzlauer Berg district. This café is not just a place to grab a quick bite; it's an experience that invites you to linger a little longer while savoring the good things in life.

Start your day right with a visit to Elf Café, where breakfast isn't just a meal—it's a celebration of flavors. With a rich and diverse menu, you can indulge in everything from classic continental breakfasts to more adventurous dishes like pancakes and Flammkuchen. The abundance of cakes and cookies, along with a variety of alternative milks for your coffee, ensures that everyone finds something to satisfy their cravings. Annie Mannie aptly sums it up: "Breakfast was really good. It may look a bit overpriced, but actually it’s reasonable for this size and quality."

As you step inside, you’ll find a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for both catching up with friends and enjoying some quiet reflection. As described by Mihaela Vajda, the café features decent coffee and a pleasant ambiance, making it an ideal hideaway from the hustle and bustle outside. The spacious interior is complemented by comfortable outdoor seating—perfect for soaking in the sun and sipping a latte while people-watching on the quaint street.

Speaking of coffee, it’s clear that Elf Café takes its brews seriously. Whether you're in the mood for rich espresso or a soothing herbal tea, their drink selection won't disappoint. As Ferdinand Biere notes, the café boasts good coffee and tasty food, wrapped in a relaxed vibe. The mildly slower service mentioned by Istvan is worth it when you realize the quality of what you’re enjoying—great food and calming surroundings make for the perfect retreat.

However, like any popular spot, Elf Café is not without its quirks. Its family-friendly atmosphere, while inviting for parents, can sometimes lead to a louder environment thanks to enthusiastic little diners. But fear not—this only adds to the café's charm, as it captures the essence of community and laughter, as noted by local reviewer Serge Castro.

While some may consider the prices slightly higher than average, they truly reflect the quality and portion sizes you receive. The thoughtful details—from the décor to the diverse menu options—make Elf Café a worthy pit stop on your Berlin adventure. Whether you're looking for a cozy breakfast, a relaxing coffee break, or just a piece of cake to enjoy, Elf Café is poised to satisfy your cravings while inviting you to lean back and enjoy the moment.

If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t miss out on this inviting café where culinary craftsmanship meets a welcoming atmosphere. It’s where every visit feels like coming home again.

We came here because there were no more place around and didn’t expect much. But breakfast was really good. It may look a bit overpriced but actually it’s reasonable for this size and quality. Big menu, lot of cakes, alternative milks. We definitely will come again!

Overpriced for a cafe. Thhe food shown in my pics and the coffee costed around £19. Apart from that factor it's good. On the quiet street so if you are looking to have your coffee in peace and being reflective about your life and where this world is going, do check out this place.

Very relaxed cafe. There are all sorts of coffees and tees but you get wine, beer and some hard liquor, too. They offer breakfast, cakes and cookies. All we had was very good and what we saw at other tables looked good, too. The service is a bit slow and the prices are slightly higher than the average in the neighbourhood but within the acceptable range. There are some tables and banks outside.

An ok cafe on the northern side of Prenzlauer Berg. It has a children area, which can make the place loud at times. They have a large menu that I will be happy to explore! They not only have normal continental breakfasts, but also pancakes, paninis and Flammkuchen.
